What to Expect

Chiropractic Biophysics

Chiropractic BioPhysics®, orCBP®, is, in short, a higher level of chiropractic. It is a more knowledgeable, comprehensive, systematic, scientific approach to chiropractic, that provides predictable results for patients.  To learn more about CBP, click here: http://cbppatient.com/what-is-cbp/what-is-chiropractic-biophysics/.

CBP® combines standard chiropractic joint adjustments with mirror image® (opposite position) postural adjustments, mirror image® spinal/postural exercise, and mirror-image® traction to provide more permanent relief and improved health for patients through spine and postural correction.

Phase 1: Symptom Relief

If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better.  So, our first goal in treatment is to reduce symptoms.  Once we have the pain under control we can start to correct the posture.  The process starts with a comprehensive x-ray analysis that incorporates digital x-rays and Posture Ray Analysis

Symptom reduction usually takes between 1-8 visits.  After 36 visits of postural corrective adjustments, exercises and traction (in office and home) post x-rays are taken for a comparative analysis and to measure the change in posture; again using the posture ray analysis.

Phase 2: Continued Corrective Care

Sometimes, it takes several series of 36 visit to achieve the optimal correction possible.  In these cases, it is typical to need care 12 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed and we have made all of the postural corrections possible, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments and to continue at home with home traction to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
